I am a fitness trainer, usually like to cook for myself, often go to the food market to pick fresh ingredients, and insist on exercising more than five times a week. But the problem of low mood has been troubling me for a long time, and I have never gotten completely better. The lowest point was in 2011, during that time I almost closed myself off, did not talk to anyone, did not answer the phone, and did not work, this state lasted for two whole years. Later, because of financial pressure, I had to force myself to start working again. By now, seven years have passed, and although I am still alive, I feel as if I have lost my soul, completely lifeless.

Hi, my friend, I'm Fuji the whale social worker.

A big hug to you first! I can deeply feel your loss and exhaustion. Can you talk to me about it? What made you so emotionally drained? Like what particular things happened in 2011 that put you in this state? I have some practical advice I'd like to share with you:

1. Rekindle your passion for life.Sometimes we need to find the true joy within. Like the idea conveyed in some movies, authenticity is a peace and joy that naturally springs from the heart without regret or twinge. You can take the initiative to find things that make your eyes light up, such as trying new hobbies, making positive friends, and slowly letting the life force return.

2. Listen more to your inner voice.Although on the outside you are still working and living normally, on the inside you may have become numb. This is a good time to ask yourself: what do I really love? What do I do now that makes me happy? Take good care of your inner needs, just like taking care of a good friend, so you can find meaning and vitality in your life again.

Blessings to you and I hope you can take a step out of the gloom! (Whale social worker 🐋)
